Growing up I had no idea what social engineering was. The first time I was introduced to social engineering was when I took my current job with Secure Guard Consulting. My very first task was to perform a vishing call to a client with the end goal of controlling the targets actions and obtaining needed sensitive information.

I still remember how nervous I was that first call. Since then and thousands of vishing calls and phishing emails, and a number of in-person engagements later, I have come to be truly fascinated with the art and science of social engineering.

My goal for this website is to educate individuals on the subject of social engineering. It doesn’t matter if the end goal for you is to benefit from this material in a professional manner or a personal manner.
